The End of The Universe

Extrapolating from current theory, the final resting place of matter would probably be black holes. The universe might end as two very massive black holes circling about each other. When combined, all remaining space-time would fold up with them, which might also trigger the beginning a new cosmic cycle. This could assist in explaining the beginning and end of the universe as a singularity.
